Leona L. (Turner) Tasker

Leona L. Tasker 90 of Paris Twp. passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at UH Portage Medical Center. She was born June 15, 1934 in Swanton, MD to Gilbert S. and Virginia (Harvey) Turner. Leona was a member of the First Church of God in Edinburg. Survivors include her children Carolyn Lee, Richard Tasker, William (Cindy) Tasker, David (Katie) Tasker and Ray (Stacey) Tasker, daughter in law Celeste Tasker, 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and siblings Betty Sims, Roscoe Turner and Robert Turner. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Dannie, son James Tasker, sister Shirley Kerns and daughter in law Tammy Tasker. Calling hours will be from 9 AM until time of funeral service at 11 AM Friday, July 5, 2024 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. Reverend Brad Edder will officiate. Private burial will follow in Hawley Cemetery in Paris Township. In lie of flowers memorials should be made to the First Church of God in Edinburg.
