Leonard G. Shaw

Leonard G. Shaw 84 of Aurora died Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at Anna Maria Nursing Home. He was born September 23, 1926 in Wilmington, Delaware to the late Leonard and Elizabeth (Jameson) Shaw. Mr. Shaw was a US Navy veteran of WWII, had served in the US Air Force and was a sales executive for All State Insurance Company for 28 years. Survivors include his daughter Susan L. McElroy of Aurora, sons William Shaw of Tampa, FL and Robert (Barbara) Shaw of California, 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Mary E. Shaw and son Leonard Shaw. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, September 23, 2011 at Aurora City Cemetery with Reverend Kevin Horak officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to the D.A.V., PO Box 627, Ravenna, OH 44266 or the American
