Leonard P Skonieczny, Sr.

Leonard P. Skonieczny, Sr., 83, of Ravenna, formerly of Streetsboro, passed away on Monday, June 4, 2012 at The Woodlands at Robinson. He was born on April 6, 1929 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Stephen and Florence (Purchaleski) Skonieczny. Leonard was retired from Flintkote Corp. in Ravenna where he worked as a crew leader. He was an avid bowler, loved hunting, fishing, gardening, and most of all spending time with is family. Leonard is survived by his children; Edward (Laura) Skonieczny of Streetsboro, Leonard (Linda) Skonieczny, Jr. of Streetsboro, Donald (Jill) Skonieczny, Joseph (Barbara) Skonieczny of Streetsboro, Michele Baker of Oklahoma, Stephen (Terry) Skonieczny of Stow, Mark (Darla) Skonieczny of Stow, Doris (Jeffrey) Miller of Aurora, and Jeffrey (Mary) Skonieczny of Aurora; 34 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Delphine Zoski of Michigan. In addition to his parents, Leonard was preceded in death by his brother, Stephen Skonieczny. Cremation has taken place.  A private memorial service will be held at the family's convenience.
