Lester M Mcmichael

Lester M. McMichael, 82 of Streetsboro, passed away Saturday April  18, 2020 at the Avenue of Aurora.  On October 31, 1937 he was born in Lancaster, PA to the late Edward and Suie (Meck) McMichael.  Mr. McMichael has lived in Streetsboro the past 55 years and in 1976 he started the McMichael Insurance Agency in Streetsboro which is now being run by his sons.  He is a member of the Christ Community Chapel in Hudson and some  of his greatest joys were coaching his sons in little league baseball in Streetsboro where he also  helped build the baseball fields.  Survivors include his wife of 59 years  Marianne (Kresse) McMichael whom he married February 4, 1961, his sons Mark (Sharon) McMichael, Gerald (Julie) McMichael, Dennis (Barb) McMichael all of Streetsboro, 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, siblings John McMichael, Ellamae Mellinger, Wilbur McMichael all of Lancaster, PA. Lester was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ.  He lived his faith deeply and shared that same love with his children, grandchildren, and those around him”.  Private family services will be held  at Shorts  Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Streetsboro Chapel and burial was in Evergreen Cemetery Streetsboro, Ohio.  The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations may be made to donors favorite charity.  Condolences and memories of Lester may be shared with his family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
