Lewis V. "Butch" Beeman

Lewis V. “Butch” Beeman, 75 of Warren, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at the UH Portage Medical Center in Ravenna, Ohio. Lewis “Butch” Beeman was born on November 30, 1950 in Anderson, Indiana to the late Harry and Marjorie (Widener) Beeman. Lewis was a resident of Northeast Ohio since 1981. Lewis was a self-employed logger and in his later years was a driver for the Amish. Lewis had a passion for horse pulling competitions and participating in coon hunts with his special dog Ranger. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Judith Lawson and brother Stewart Beeman. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Evelyn A (Fuller) Beeman, whom he married on October 26, 1985, and his daughter, Chanel Beeman, a son Lewis E. and Jennifer Beeman and a stepson Van Foxall. Lewis is also survived by 5 grandchildren CJ Laney, Alyssa Laney, Austin Laney, Isabella Beeman, and Addyson Beeman as well as 7 great-grandchildren Jaxson Laney, Lucas Laney, Starlite Laney, Acylas Laney, Kentrall Laney, Carson Laney and Elijah Laney. Surviving siblings include Linda Mofield, Russell Beeman, Tammy Beeman, Joyce McCormick, Chris Beeman, Charlie Beeman and Roger Beeman. There will be no calling hours or services at this time; in honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
