Lewis Brown, Jr.

Lewis Brown, Jr. 85 of Ravenna, formerly of Cleveland, died Sunday, February 5, 2012. He was born August 5, 1926 to Lewis Brown, Sr. and Ada (Williams) Brown of Cabin Creek, West Virginia. Lewis was a coal miner in West Virigina until moving to Ohio where he worked as a crane operator for The Republic Steel Company. He is survived by his wife Theresa (Scisson) of 61 years. His siblings Evalyn, Esta (deceased), Lula (deceased), Junior and Tony (deceased). Father of Dwatne (Mary), Barry (deceased), Gregory, William (Maryann), Beverly, Venetta, Lena (Rich), Nancy Kapousis and Donna Sue (deceased). Grandfather and Great Grandfather to many. Calling hours will be from 2 - 4 & 6 - 8 PM Thursday, February 9, 2012 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home, 141 N. Meridian Street, Ravenna, Ohio 44266. Funeral services will be at 1 PM Friday, February 10, 2012 at the funeral home with Pastor Bob Sepkovich officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Ravenna.
