Lewis P Ramos

Lewis Paul Ramos, 76, of Ravenna, passed away, Saturday May 23, 2026 at University Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio. On November 20, 1949, Lewis was born in Warren, Ohio to the late José and Lucy (Garrett) Ramos and was raised by his foster parents, the late Alvin and Ruth (Snyder) Mills.Being a lifelong Ravenna resident, he was a retired truck driver and dispatcher for Heinens Foods in Warrensville Hts., Ohio. Lewis was a United States Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam War and enjoyed the outdoors especially hunting and fishing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings Pete Ramos and Susie Harris. Survivors include his wife Vicki K. (McGrew) Ramos whom he married June 15, 2013, his daughters Rebecca Korinko, Christina (Jon) Myers, his grandchildren Zackary Myers, Anika Korinko, Nickolas Myers and his brothers Joe Ramos (Diane) and Dan Mills (Dale). In honoring his wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration honoring his life will take place on July 11, 2026 at Parkside Church in Kent, Ohio. Seating will begin at 10:30am with services and a luncheon beginning at 11am. In lieu of flowers and other gifts, the family is setting up a scholarship through his Alma Mater, Crestwood High School, to provide financial assistance to deserving youth.
