Lillian L. McManus 78 of Streetsboro passed away suddenly Friday, July 20, 2012 at University Hospital in Cleveland. She was born August 7, 1933 in Mooresburg, TN to the late Walter and Giola Buttry. Lillian was a Supervisor in the bakery at Country Counter Stop and Shop until she retired in 1992 She was a snowbird who loved to travel between Streetsboro and Florida, a member of Streetsboro United Methodist Church, and the Red Hat Society. She loved bingo, playing the guitar and singing and loved spending time with her great grandson and great great grandson. She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Judy (Jack) Evans of Streetsboro, Sherry (Robby) Crapser of Medina, grandchildren, Becky McIntyre, Rich (Erica) McIntyre, Gavin McIntyre, sister, Bernice Brady of TN, and her dear companion Larry Gualtieri. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James A. McManus whom died in 2000, a sister Ulamae Jefferson, and a brother, Gaines Buttry. Calling Hours will be held from 5 - 8 PM Monday, July 23, 2012 at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel. Funeral Service will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at the Streetsboro United Methodist Church with Rev. Byron George officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery following the services.
