Lillian F. Stone 95 of Ravenna passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side. She was born march 4,, 1920 in New Philadelphia, Ohio to the late Guistino and Annunziata (Norscia) Cicconetti. Mrs. Stone has lived in Ravenna most of her life and was a member of Immaculate Conception Church. She owned and operated the Ravenna Permanent Wave Salon for over 52 years where she retired at the age of 89 following a broken hip. She also was a Rosie the Riveter during WW II, worked at the Ravenna bus Station and owned the Dutch Mill in Ravenna. Survivors include her daughter Judith (David) Shafer of Rootstown, her grandchildren Christine Graham, Joseph Shafer, her great grandchildren Matthew and Jacob Keller and her brother Art Cicconetti of New Philadelphia. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings Jerome Cicconetti, Jeanette Tarulli, Mary Garay, Nonda DiDonato, Elaine Cicconetti and Lucille Cicconetti. Calling hours will be 5-7 PM Friday September 25, 2015 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Saturday September 26, 2015 at Immaculate Conception Church with burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery Ravenna, Ohio.
