Lillian M. (Collin) Smith

Lillian M. Smith 83 of Hudson died Sunday, January 1, 2012 at Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna. She was born August 24, 1928 in Kirtland, Ohio to John and Frances (Mawson) Collin. Mrs. Smith was formerly of Peninsula and has lived in Hudson for the past 27 years. She was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Survivors include her daughters Heather (Rick) Coe of Ravenna and Holly (James) Brown of Columbus, son Dale(Marree) Smith of Uniontown, OH, 6 grandchildren and a sister Doris Foster of VA. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Dale E. Smith in 1999, a sister Frances Boddy and a brother John Collin. Calling hours will be from 5 - 7 PM Thursday, January 5, 2012 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. Funeral services will be at 11 AM Friday, January 6, 2012 at the funeral home with Bill Lentz officiating. Burial will be in Temple Cemetery in Kirtland, OH. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials to the American Lung Association, 6100 Rockside Woods Blvd. #260, Independence, OH 44131.
