Lois R. Hemmer 92 of Streetsboro died Saturday, July 23, 2016. She was born January 6, 1924 in Cleveland, Ohio to Charles and Anna (Griffith) Cashin. Lois had formerly lived in Arizona, Florida and Avon Lake, Ohio and had worked in advertising for the Avon Lake Press. She was a member of the Mantua Country Baptist Church and the O.E.S. in Cleveland. Survivors include her daughters Susan Probst of Streetsboro, Karen Rogers of Beaver Falls, PA and Sherre Maile of Batavia, NY, son Gregory (Tonya) White of Arkansas, 14 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Judy Sowers and brothers Charles, Thomas, Russell and Lew Cashin. Calling hours will be from 11 AM until time of funeral service at 1 PM on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel. Pastor Murray Bay will officiate. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Streetsboro.
