Lois J (Fordyce) Yost

Lois (Fordyce) Yost, 92 of Ravenna, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at her residence. She was born May 27, 1930 to the late William and Elizabeth (Newton) Fordyce in Shenango Twp., PA. She lived in Ravenna since 1996 and was formerly of Kent. Mrs. Yost was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years whom she married on November 24, 1948 Lester Yost, her daughter Darrell Simms, daughter-in-law Sandra Yost and granddaughter Melissa Terry. She is survived by her children Gary Yost, Leslie Painter and David (Dawn) Yost, her grandchildren Tania, Kris, Zack and son Myles, and Michael, step-grandchildren Jody and Amy, several great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren. A private family service has been held at Standing Rock Cemetery in Kent. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude in honor of Lois.
