Lois J. (Garlick) Yonker

Lois J. Yonker 93 of Rootstown, formerly of Deerfield, died Wednesday, September 17, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 12, 1920 in Tarentum, PA to Fred and Gertrude (Garlick) Vance. Lois attended Deerfield Evangelical Friends Church. Survivors include her daughters Cathy (Gene) Miller of Deerfield and Janet (Ted Kunka) Moscorelli of Ravenna, sons Robert A. (Irene) Yonker of Orrville and Gerald E. (Marcie) Yonker of Kent, 17 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, 13 great great grandchildren and a half sister Lida Donatelli of Cuyahoga Falls. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughters Cynthia Sue Ensinger and Barbara L. Yonker. Friends may call one hour prior to the 1 PM service on Monday, September 22, 2014 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. Pastor Jody Hill will officiate. Graveside commital service will be at 3 PM Monday at Northlawn Memorial Park in Cuyahoga Falls. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials to Crossroads Hospice, 3743 Boettler Oaks Dr, Green, OH 44685.
