Lois B. (Wyatt) Croft

Lois B. Croft, 98, of Ravenna, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2021. She was born August 15, 1923 in Vandever, TN to William and Alice (Hale) Wyatt. Lois married William "Sam" Croft on June 29, 1946. They were blessed with 15 years of marriage and 6 children. Lois was a homemaker until her husbands untimely passing. She worked for many places to support her young family. On top of taking care of her family, she devoted herself to other widows to help them through the process she went through. Lois would help her family and others because she was a truly selfless person. She would babysit and run kids where ever they needed to go and never complain. She loved to drive and made several trips to Tennessee by herself until she was in her mid 80's. Lois never missed a birthday whether it was by card or phone call. Heaven truly gained an angel with her passing. She left a hole in her family's hearts that can never be filled. Fond memories will be carried on and cherished by all who loved her. Survivors include her children Betty (Walt) Whitacre, Nancy Downey, Dale Gilbert and David (Mary) Croft, 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren and siblings Richard Wyatt, Margaret Blaylock, Mildred Wyatt, Sharon Downs, Shirley Walker and Mabel Holt. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Sam, daughters Joan Hebb and Brenda Croft, grandchildren Tami Sqambati and Daniel Gilbert and siblings Beecher Wyatt, Marie Simpson, Will Wyatt, Jr., Dora Watson and Linda Griffith. Calling hours will be from 10 AM until time of funeral services at 11 AM Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Bilbrey Funeral Home in Crossville, TN. Burial will follow in City Cemetery in Crossville, TN.
