Lonnie Van Hoose

Lonnie Van Hoose, 71 of Ravenna, passed away Tuesday October 31, 2023 at his home with his family by his side.  On July 1, 1952, Lonnie was born in Bulan, Kentucky to the late Clyde and Reva Mae (Gayhart) Van Hoose, Jr.  He has lived in Ravenna the past several years and had lived in California prior.  He was a member of the Ravenna Elks and Moose Lodge.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Ronnie Van Hoose and sister-in-law Fran Van Hoose.  Survivors inlcude his children J.C. (Karen) Van Hoose, Deborah Ford, his grandsons Cory, Cameron, Trey, his great grandsons Bryson, Luca, his sister Connie (Terry) Knight and many, nieces, nephews and cousin.  There will be no calling hours or services, in honoring his request, cremation has taken place.  Private burial will take place in Maple Grove Cemetery Ravenna, Ohio.  The family would like to thank his home health aide Jasmine for her wonderful care.
