Lonnie T Shannon

Lonnie T. Shannon, 82 of Aurora passed away Thursday May 15, 2018 at his home with his family by his side.  He was born January 13, 1936 in Wilkensburg, PA to the late Clinton and Ruth Louise (Sarver) Shannon.  Mr. Shannon has lived in Aurora the past 48 years and retired from  Zircoa Products in Solon where he worked as a maintenance man.  He enjoyed golf and at one time was a Free Mason.  He is survived  by his wife Pearl (Farabaugh) Shannon whom he married Nov. 28, 1953, his children Sandra Mekker, Tom (Debra) Shannon, his grandson Dan Mekker, his siblings Rebecca Smith and Lethan Shannon.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Kenneth on Oct. 8, 2016 and his siblings Louis, Warren and Roger Shannon.  Calling hours will be Tuesday May 22, 2018 from 6pm until time of funeral services at 8 PM with Rev.
