Lorena Mae (Beall) Smith

Lorena Mae Smith 70 of Ravenna passed away peacefully May 26, 2011 surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 15, 1941 to the late Ralph and Pauline (Blankenship) Beall. Lorena grew up in Brady Lake, graduated of Kent Roosevelt and went to St. Patrick School. She was a hostess at East Park, and enjoyed sewing, especially making baby and Barbie doll clothes for her daughters and granddaughters. She loved camping, swimming, boating, and traveling with her family. Survivors include her sons John W. (Melissa) Smith of Ravenna, Robert Smith of Ravenna, daughters, Charlotte (Gary) McFarland of Suffield, Patricia (John) Dolin of Ravenna, grandchildren, Andrea, Christina, Heather, Jenna, Shayne, Michael, Johnathan, Nicholas, great granddaughter, Alice, brothers, Terry (Blanche) Blankenship of Charleston, SC, Gary (Sandy) Beall of Windham, Harry (Cheryl) Beall of Kewaskum, WI, sisters, Gerry Mathews of Panama City, FL Sherry (Jerry) Balentine of Casa Grande, AZ. Calling hours will be held from 5 - 8 PM Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. Funeral Service will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 1, 2011 with Chaplin Jim Walter officiating.  He final resting place will be in Maple Grove Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers donations can be make to Crossroads Hospice, 3743 Boettler Oaks Drive Suite E, Green, Ohio 44685.
