Lorene Mcmahon

Lorene McMahon, 84, passed away Sunday, October 20, 2024 at her home. She was born October 12, 1940 & was a lifelong Ravenna resident. She had attended Portage Community Chapel and retired in 2003 from Ravenna City Schools where she proudly served as a bus driver for 30 years & where she made many lifelong friends! She enjoyed her day-to-day work very much, but her favorite "assignment" each year was driving the marching band to & from camp & football games! She was never one to just sit on the bus while the games were going on though. Instead, she would go inside, so she could cheer everyone on while she waited! Survivors include her children: Lisa (Rob) Babington, Skip (Lori) Fleshman, Regan Fleshman and Craig Fleshman, her grandchildren: Kortney Babington (Mike Di Prima), Austin Fleshman and Kevin Fleshman (Lisa Young) as well as her brothers, Alan Moore and Keith (Jane) Moore. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Alverta (Litsinger) Moore and her brother Willard "Jan" Moore. Calling hours will be from 11 AM until the time of service at 12 PM Saturday, October 26, 2024 at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home, Ravenna Chapel. Pastor Ray Sigworth will officiate. Cremation will follow the service and burial will be in Grandview Memorial Park in Ravenna at a later date. In lieu of flowers, and to honor her love of all of those band trips, donations may be made to the Ravenna High School Band, c/o 6665 Wall St., Ravenna, 44266.
