Loretta M. (Grund) Ingram

Loretta M. Ingram, age 76, of Rootstown passed away on July 20, 2016 in her own home, surrounded by the love of her family. Loretta was born on July 22, 1939 in New Milford, OH to the late Elwood and Gladys Grund. Loretta was a 1957 graduate of Rootstown High School, a member of the First Congregational Church of Rootstown UCC, a former member of the Rootstown Lions Club, and she retired from Ravenna Savings Bank. She enjoyed traveling, especially cruises, and would spend her winters in Florida. She was an avid reader but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Loretta was preceded in death by her brother, Lee Grund. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Daryl Ingram, and their children; Debora Noland, Rick (Charlene) Ingram, and Scott (Amy) Ingram. She is also survived by her sisters, Diane Reed, Jenny (Jim) Satterfield, and Jeannette (Boyd) Combs, and by her brother Joe (Anita) Grund. Her memory is cherished by her grandchildren; Nicole Ayers, Alicia Storey, Erin Gaugh, Brian Noland, Kyle Noland, Alena Ingram, and Jackson Ingram. She also leaves behind her great-grandchildren; Austin Ayers, Mason Storey, Ava Storey, Maverick Noland, and baby girl Ayers due in October. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday July 26, 2016 from 5-7 PM at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home’s Ravenna Chapel. A memorial service will be officiated by Rev. Dr. Jerry Fritz at 7PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Akron General Home Hospice 3358 Ridgewood Rd. Akron, OH 44333. The family would like to extend special thanks to the Hospice staff that provided special care during Loretta's illness.
