Loretta A. (Smith) Price

Loretta A. Price 69 of Chardon passed away Saturday February 15, 2014 at the Briar Hill Health Center in Middlefield, Ohio.  She was born February 19, 1944 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Virgil and Castira (Dozier) Smith.   She has lived in Chardon since 2007, where she attended the Pilgrim Christian Church and was formerly of Mt. Verde, Florida.  She was the owner of the Convenient Store in Middlefield and had worked at the Mt. Verde  Academy.  Survivors include her children Bill (Denise) Price of Chardon, Barbara Haber of Clermont, Florida, her grandchildren Shawn Haber, Brittany Haber, Doug Price, Dan Price, Ashley Price,  Nicole Castro and Laura Rizzo.  Also surviving are four great grandchildren and brothers Otis, Sam, Bobby and Raymond Smith.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Richard "Dick" Price on March 2, 2006 and sisters Christine and Beulah.  Calling hours will be 4-6 PM Wednesday February 19, 2014 followed by funeral services at 6 PM  at the Pilgrim Christian Church in Chardon, Ohio with Pastor Chris McCreight officiating.  Burial will take place in Florida National Cemetery Bushell.
