Lucille E. Pendleton

Lucielle E. Pendleton 95 of Kent, passed away Monday May 28, 2018 at Altercare of Brimfield.  She was born April 23, 1923 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late John and Mary (Firosa) Guerra.  Lucielle was known as the longest living citizen of Kentway at one time  where she assisted many other folks with her care and had worked as a waitress for several family owned restaurants.  She is survived by her son Dr. Gene Pendleton of Kent who is aProfessor of Philosophy at KSU, her daughter Paula Petersen-Jenkins of Ravenna who is a retired OB Nurse from Robinson Memorial, her grandchildren Christopher, Gregory,  Rhett, Deidra and her great granddaughter Cyra.  In addition to her parents , she was preceded in death by her husband Lew Pendleton in 1970, four brothers and 3 sisters.  Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Friday June 1, 2018 at Calvary Cemetery in Cleveland.  Condolences and memories  of Lucielle may be shared with her family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
