Mabel A. (Hinton) Nichols

Mabel A. Nichols, 96, passed away Sunday August 22, 2021 at The Landing of Stow.  She was born March 6, 1925 in Barberton, Ohio to the late Joseph and Mary (Semmens) Hinton.  Prior to returning to Ohio in 2014 she had resided on Fripp Island, South Carolina before moving to Spruce Creek, Florida. She had previously worked as a key punch operator for the Yoder Brothers in Barberton and at Firestone Tire and Rubber.  Survivors include her sons Alan (JoAnn) Nichols, Tom (Pam) Nichols, her grandchildren Alicia, William, Melissa, Timothy, James and great grandchildren Eva and Olivia.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Albert Nichols in 1998 and brother William Hinton.  There will be no calling hours however services will be held at a later date. In honoring her request, cremation has taken place.  Condolences and memories of Mabel may be shared at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
