Macel J. Mundy 85 of Rootstown died Friday, May 27, 2016. She was born April 6, 1931 in Akron to George and Elva (Riddle) Brown. Macel was a member of the New Beginnings Fellowship Church in Brimfield. Survivors include her daughters Sharon Eubank and Barbara (Daniel) Miley, sons Archie (Jackie) and Edward (Christine) Mundy, 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Archie in 1985, daughters Jeanette Reader and Karen Harris, son in law Danny Eubank, sister Hazel Curfman and brothers Fred and Edward Brown. Calling hours will be from 11 AM until time of funeral service at 1 PM Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. Reverend Tommie Nicholas will officiate. Burial will follow in Homeland Cemetery in Rootstown. In lieu of flowers memorials should be made to New Beginnings Fellowship, 4567 State Route 43, Kent, Ohio 44241.
