Madeline (Dubinsky) Francis

Madeline Francis 91,has joined her beloved husband Frank on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 of whom she was married for 65 years.  She was born July 20, 1925 in Robins, Ohio to the late Joseph and Anna (Mehok) Dubinsky.  She has lived in Ravenna since 1945 and  during  that time she had lived in Ireland for three years. She also lived at Independence Village in Aurora since 2012.
In her younger years, she was a Rosie the Riveter at Goodyear Aerospace, worked at Woolen Mills in Ravenna and then for the Ravenna City Schools in the cafeteria until she retired in 1993.  She was a member of  Immaculate Conception Church in Ravenna, where she was involved with the Young At  Heart and the New Life Choir. Madeline was known as a mom to all and was loved by many.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Frank in 2013, her infant son Michael, her daughter Janice and her siblings: Anna Bozigar, Margaret Francis, Joseph, William, Theodore and Leon Dubinsky. Survivors include her children: Barbara Hritz of Lansdale, PA., Bob of Lake Milton, and Tom(Sue)  Francis  of Streetsboro. Also eight grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and Steve and Barbara Francis (brother-in-law and sister-in-law) along with many nieces, nephews and friends. Calling hours will be Sunday, July 31, 2016 from 1-4PM at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel.  Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00AM, Monday August 1, 2016 at Immaculate Conception Church Ravenna, Ohio with Father William Kraynak officiating.  Entombment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery Ravenna, Ohio.  The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Immaculate Conception Church in Ravenna, Ohio.
