Marie E (Lickert) Stankiewicz

Marie E. Stankiewicz, 72 of Ravenna, passed away Saturday April 20, 2019 at the Arbors of Stow.  She was born November 1, 1946 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Kenneth J. and Irene (Martin) Lickert.  Marie has lived in Ravenna most of her life and  having a love of children, she ran a child daycare out of her home.  She was a member of St. Joan of Arc Church in Streetsboro and as a former member of Immaculate Conception Church, she was an Eucharistic minister and taught premarital classes.  She also was the financial secretary for the FOPA #9 and the Ravenna Twp. Fire Aux. Survivors include her husband Anthony "Tony" Stankiewicz whom she married June 16, 1973, her sons Kenneth John (Carol) Stankiewicz, Mark A. (April) Stankiewicz, her step son Michael A. Stankiewicz, her grandchildren Christopher, McKensi, Cameron, Josh, Alyssa,  two other grandchildren and siblings Judith Ward and Ray Lickert.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother.  Calling hours will be from 4-7 PM on Wednesday April 24, 2019 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 Am Thursday April 25, 2019 at St. Joan of Arc Church in Streetsboro, Ohio.  Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery Ravenna, Ohio.  The family asks that in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Arbor's of Stow  2910 L'Ermitage Place  Stow, Ohio 44224-5219.  Condolences and memories of Marie may be shared with her family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
