Marie D (May) Rabush

Marie D. Rabush 84 of Ravenna, and formerly from Lady Lake FL, passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at the Emeritus Assisted Living. She was born April 24, 1927 in Staten Island, NY to the late Thomas and Frances (Lasoski) May.  Marie was a Register Nurse and worked for the Long Island Development Center in NY, till she  retired. She was a member of St. Mark and St. Timothy Catholic Church in Lady Lake, FL.  Survivors include her daughter, Marie (Norm) Sorkin of Ravenna, step-daughter, Virginia (Thomas) Egan of PA, 4 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and special friends, Ron and Paula Cline.  She was preceded in death by her husbands, William Eibach in 1965, Allan Rabush in 1995, sons, William Eibach, Timothy Eibach, and a brother Thomas May. Calling Hours will be held from 7 - 9 PM Friday, October 28, 2011 at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Immaculate Conception Church with Father John Michael Lavelle officiating.  Burial will be held at late date in St. Charles Cemetery , Farmingdale, NY.   Special "Thank You" to the staff at Emeritus Assisted Living and Harbor Light Hospice.  In lieu of flowers donations maybe made to Harbor Light Hospice in Monroe Falls.
