Marion W. Carr

Marion W. Carr 81 of Ravenna passed away January 31, 2012 at Robinson Memorial Hospital. He was born April 21, 1930 in Nanticoke, PA to the late William D. and Lovrna Pearl (Osborn) Carr.  He retired from Good  Year Aerospace after 37 1/2 years. Marion enjoyed fishing, hunting, and a devoted Christian. He is survived by his loving wife , JoAnn (Ramey) Carr whom he married May 19, 1950, daughters Bonnie (Randy) Welch of Suffield, Judy (Greg) Labajetta of Stow, Sherri (Tim) Smith of Randolph, son Robert W. (Dawn Hensley) of Kent, 2 sisters, 2 brothers, 7 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by 2 sisters and 4 brothers.  Calling Hours will be held from 7 - 9 PM Thursday, February 2, 2012 at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel.  Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, February 3, 2012 at the Funeral Home with Rev. Tracy Ogden Johnson and Dave Johnston officiating.  Burial will  follow in Grandview Memorial Park Ravenna.
