Marion T. Moravec 84 of Shalersville died Monday, June 24, 2013 at Robinson Memorial Hospital. She was born December 25, 1928 in Garfield Heights, Ohio to Alexander and Alexandra (Witowski) Walencey. Marion was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mantua and the Ravenna VFW #1055 Auxiliary for 50 years . Survivors include her husband of 65 years Ernest "Ernie" Moravec, sons Dale of Aurora, Ernest Jr. (Peggy) and Matthew (Christine) both of Kent and Russell (Susan) of San Antonio, TX and grandchildren Ashley, Kari, Craig, Brandon, Christopher, Kent, Mitchel and Jeffery. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Mildred and Pricilla and a brother Edward. Calling hours will be from 5 - 8 PM Thursday, June 27, 2013 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. Funeral services will be at 11 AM Friday, June 28, 2013 at the funeral home with Reverend William Snyder officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Shalersville.
