Marjorie (Ferris) Pierson

Marjorie Pierson, age 69, of Ravenna passed away on November 11, 2016. She was born on April 24, 1947 in Ravenna to  Floyd and Edna Ferris. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 43 years,  “Slim” Boyd M. Pierson. She is survived by her children; Patty Pierson of Ravenna, Robin Sims of Ravenna, Bob Pierson of Ravenna, and Bill Pierson of Kent. She is also survived by her sisters Ruth Ann Smith of NC, Carolyn Rose (Jimmy) of Portsmouth, OH, and by her brothers George (Shelia) Ferris of Piedmont, OH, and David (Shirley) Ferris of Mantua, OH. Her memory is cherished by her grandchildren, Kenny Roosa, Melissa Hemphill, Bobby Pierson, Marcie Marie, Joshua Ray, Cheril Fitzgerald, Shelby Hawn. She will be greatly missed by her 8 great grandchildren, by her dog, Tippy, and by many friends. Marjorie loved to collect dolls, salt & pepper shakers, and crosses. She enjoyed traveling with her mom, and sister in-law/ best friend on day trips, which including going gambling. She will be greatly missed. We love you mom! A graveside service will take place at 11am on Tuesday November 15, 2016 at Grandview Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home.
