Marlin Lee Cugini 76 of Tallmadge went to the Lord on Christmas morning Friday, December 25, 2015 after a long battle with kidney failure. He was born February 2, 1939 in Harrisburg, PA to Lawrence Sr. and Ellen (Lopez) Cugini. Marlin was a US Army veteran and had worked as a salesman for Union Oil Company. He graduated in 1957 from Randolph High School, where he played football. Marlin continued his love of football by coaching PeeWee Football in Tallmadge for many years. He was also a lifelong member of the Moose Lodge, serving as President for many years. Survivors include his son Dominic Cugini of Richfield, brother Roger Cugini of Aliance, niece Linda Troy and nephew David Griffith both of Somerset, PA. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Mary Griffith and brothers Lawrence "Richard" Cugini, Jr. and Jack Cugini. There will be no calling hours or services, cremation has taken place. Entombment will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel.
