Marling L Rider

Marling L. Rider, Sr., 84, of Streetsboro passed away Monday, September 21, 2020, at his residence.  He was born on October 1, 1935, in Uniontown, PA to the late Ebert and Olive (Boger) Rider.  Marling was a US Marine Corp. veteran and had worked for Conrail Railways before his retirement.  He was a member of the Streetsboro American Legion Post 685 and the Streetsboro Eagles.  He is survived by his children Marling (Diane), Michael, Debra, and Karl, as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren, and a sister, Betty Russo.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marilyn, in 2019, daughter Barbara, four brothers and a sister.  A graveside service with military honors will be held at 1 PM on Thursday, September 24, 2020, at the Evergreen Cemetery in Streetsboro with Rev. Dr. Christian Just officiating.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel.
