Martha R. (Boslaugh) Deyoung

Martha R. DeYoung 68 of Kent, formerly of Ravenna, died Wednesday, December 23, 2015. She was born November 15, 1947 in Chagrin Falls to Lysle and Elva Agnes (Kennedy) Boslaugh. Martha was a member of the Ravenna First United Methodist Church. Survivors include her daughter Deborah (Adam) Barton of Kent, sons James (Lisa) DeYoung and Jeffery (Danielle) DeYoung both of Ravenna, grandchildren Elizabeth, Jeffery, Tyler, Aaron, Emily and Haley DeYoung, sisters Kathleen Domos of Aurora and Rita Walker of Chagrin Falls and brothers Thomas Boslaugh of KY and Harry Willic of FL. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Richard T. DeYoung in 2012. Calling hours will be from 10 AM until time of service at 12 PM Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel with John Parker and James Patrick Snyder officiating. Cremation will follow with private burial in Maple Grove Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials should be made to ALS Association NE Ohio Chapter, 2500 E. 22nd Street, Cleveland, OH 44115-9907 or the Arthritis Foundation, 4630 Richmond Road, Cleveland, OH  44128.
