Martin James Matonis

Martin James Matonis 79 of Ravenna passed away Tuesday October 7, 2014 following a short illness at Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna, Ohio.  He was born November 6, 1934 in Cleveland, Ohio.  A veteran of the US Army he was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Elaine Gape.  Survivors include his wife, Kathryn Matonis, six children and several grandchildren.  At Martin's request, cremation has taken place.  Military burial will take place at a later date at the Ohio Western Reserve Cemetery Rittman, Ohio.  Condolences and memories may be shared with the family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
