Marvin H. "Harley" Jarvis, 75, of Maysel, West Virginia, formerly of Ravenna, passe away on Thursday, June 16, 2011 in Ivydale, West Virginia. He was born on February 3, 1936 in Clay County, West Virginia to the late Denver and Nina (Bragg) Jarvis. Marvin retired from Furon Corporation after 30 years of service where he worked as a quality control inspector. He also worked for Oak Rubber. Marvin is survived by his daughters, Vickie (George) Murnyack of Streetsboro, Rebecca (Adam) Michaud of Adelando, California, and Beth Addison of Ravenna; sons, Gregory (Eloise) Jarvis of Orrville and Michael Jarvis of Ravenna; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Florence Coulter of Cowen, West Virginia and Phyllis Hall of Dayton, Ohio; and brothers, Landis Jarvis of Sheffield Lake, Burl Jarvis of Sheffield Lake, and Robert Jarvis of Avon Park, Florida. In addition to his parents, Marvin was preceded in death by his brother, James Jarvis. A graveside service will be held on Monday at 1PM at Grandview Memorial Park, Chapel, with reverend Scott Purdum officiating.
