Marvin W. Reddick, Sr.

Marvin W. Reddick, Sr. 67 of Ravenna passed away Monday April 23, 2012 at his residence. He was born April 28, 1943 in Glenwood, New Mexico to the late George, Sr. and Gennieve ( Miller) Reddick. Mr. Reddick has lived in Ravenna since 1979 and was formerly of Shalersville. He had worked for the Wason Crane Company in Streetsboro and retired from the US Army after 21 years of service and two tours of duty in Vietnam. He was a lifetime member of both the Ravenna American legion Post 331 and the Ravenna VFW Post 1055. Survivors include his wife of 48 years Carol (Yea) Reddick, his son Marvin W. (Gwen) Reddick, Jr. of Erie, PA, his daughters Gennieve Reddick of Brimfield, Kimberly (Steven) Reardon of Akron, his grandchildren Patricia, Ashley, Joshua, Anna , great grandchild Hunter, brother George P. Reddick Jr of Ravenna and sisters Joy Johnson of AZ and Julie Petrencak of Ravenna. Calling hours will be Friday April 27, 2012 from 5 PM until time of funeral services at 7 PM with Pastor Cary Wadle Officiating at the Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel.
