Marvin E. Stewart

Marvin E. Stewart 77, a lifelong resident of Ravenna, died Monday, December 22, 2014. He was born June 22, 1937 in Ravenna, Ohio to Harry and Nora (Hines) Stewart. Marvin was self-employed as a maintenance person and attended the Ravenna Assembly of God. Survivors include hiis longtime friend and companion Linda Slone, nieces Gail, Carol, Doris, Peggy and Kathy, nephews Fred and Bill and his loving dog Molly. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Ethel Hall and brothers Bob, Guy and Russell. There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held at 1 PM Friday, December 26, 2014 at Maple Grove Cemetery in Ravenna with Reverend William Snyder officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Linda Slone c/o Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home, 141 N. Meridian Street, Ravenna, OH 44266 or the Portage County APL, P.O. Box 927, Ravenna, OH 44266.
