Mary E. (Crisp) Elam

Mary Elam, age 87, of Streetsboro passed away on November 26,2016. Mary was born in Wheelwright, KY on October 17, 1929 to the late Albertie and Pearlie Crisp. Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband, Russell Elam Jr. and by her son Larry Elam. She was also preceded in death by her grandsons Johnny and Franklin, great grandchildren Ashley and Seth, her brother Donald Crisp, and her sisters Patsy Cross and Betty Jo Duture. She is survived by her children; Danny (Barbara) Elam, Sheila (Jim) Davis, son-in-law Lewis Fox, and daughter-in-law Sue Elam. Her memory is also cherished by her brother, Kenny (Jean) Crisp, her sisters Mitzi Patton and Sharon Harris, and her grandchildren; Laurie, Mindy, Shawn, Jesse, Kimberly, Shandra, by her 18 great grandchildren, and by 1 great great grandson. Mary worked for Stouffers for many years, and she was Streetsboro’s first Girl Scout Leader. She will be missed by many. A memorial service will be held 3PM on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home’s Streetsboro Chapel.
