Mary Katherine (Edwards) Brown

Mary Katherine Brown, 96 of Ravenna, Ohio passed away on October 17, 2023. UH Medical Center in Ravenna.  Mary was born August 14, 1927 in Clarksburg, West Virginia to the late Douglas and Mary (Claypool) Edwards. She is survived by her three children: Stanley (Betty) Kawskay Sr. of Ravenna, Mary Phillips of Clarksburg, and Donna Recto of Lorain, grandchildren; Stanley Kawskay Jr of Ravenna, Pamela (Nathan Bowers) of Cuyahoga Falls, Ronald Rector of Lorain, Veronica (Michael Brock) of Lorain, David Phillps of Clarksburg and Carrie (Steven) Hively, 21 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren. She will also be sadly missed by all along with her friend and Bingo partner Fran.  Mary was preceded in death by her daughter Karen Ann Kawskay, brother John Edwards, sister Lucille Kearns, son in laws Ronald Rector and Donald Phillips, granddaughter, Tammy Visalden, great-grandson Bailey Rector and grandson Kevin Pastva. A private burial will take place on Monday October 23 2023 at 1:00 P.M at Hepzibah Cemetery in Hepzibah, West Virginia.
