Mary A (Oshinsky) Coburn

February 16, 1914 — September 25, 2011

Mary A. Coburn 97, of Ravenna, formerly of Streetsboro, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2011 at Robinson Memorial Hospital. She was born  February 16, 1914, in Briar Hill, PA, to the late Anthony and Josephina Oshinsky.  She lived in Streetsboro for over 40 years before residing at Brookside Assisted Living in Ravenna. Mary was a member of  St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, and Streetsboro Senior Center. She loved to play Bingo and Travel.  Survivors include  her son Earl (Belinda) Coburn of Ravenna, sister Louise Sepik of Ocala, FL, 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, many special nieces, nephews, and her friends at Brookside.  Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Coburn in 1979, daughter, Rosalie Zudlo in 1991, brothers, sisters, William, Walter, Victor, Paul, Tillie and Viola.  Calling hours will be held from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel.  Catholic Mass will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at St. Joan of Arc Church Streetsboro with Father Pat Ferraro officiating. Burial will be held in Grandview Memorial Park Ravenna following Mass.  The family would like to extend a personal Thank you to the staff a Brookside Assisted Living for their wonderful care.
