Mary Frances Snyder

Mary Frances Snyder, 84, of Peoria, IL, passed away Sunday, January 9, 2022 at Kensington Care Center in Aurora, Ohio. Mary Frances was born September 10, 1937 in Peoria, Illinois. She is survived by her sons Mark (Jim) Snyder-Schulte, Scott Snyder, a special daughter Lisa Flier, Grandchildren: Nicholas, Zachary (Lisa), Chelsea, Brittany, Connor and Great Grandchildren: Joseph, Jamie and Lukas. She was preceded in Death by her Father and Mother: Edo and Irene (Miller) Johnson, her sister: Barb Ginger, Special Friends: Jim, Phyllis, and an Infant daughter Diana Lynn. She was a graduate of Peoria High School in 1955.  Her love of singing and dancing continued as she would sing out and dance for the residents and staff at the facility.  She retired in 1999 from St. Francis Medical Center, where she enjoyed being Operator Mary. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held February 26, 2022, 10:30 am at Christ Church Limestone, The Old Stone Church 1604 N. Christ Church Road, Hanna City, IL. Her final resting place will be The Lutheran Cemetery in Peoria, IL. Arrangements have been entrusted to Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel.
