Mary E. (Tondiglia) Petrella

Mary E. Petrella 87 of Ravenna passed away Thursday, July 4, 2013 at Bonnie's Home Health Care.  She was born April 19, 1926 in Ravenna  to the late Phillip and Mary (Barbagiovanni) Tondiglia. She, along with her late husband, where owners of Eddies Stag Bar and Restaurant she then worked at the Clerk of Courts till she retired. in 1992. Mary was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, the Italian American Club Ladies Aux., the ICC Dust Busters, and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include her son, Mark (Linda) Petrella of Ravenna, grandchildren, Lisa, David, Tanya, great grandchildren, Jesse, Sarah, Maggie, sister-in-law, Jeanne Tondiglia, Dorothy Tondiglia, Mary (SJ) Barber, brother-in-laws, Dino (Sandy) Petrella, Sal (Pat) Gatti. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her  husband, Edward Petrella whom died June 13, 2008, her sisters, Frances Petrone, Carmella Shank, Bess Coates, brothers James, Joseph and Sam.  Calling hours will be Monday, July 8, 2013 from 5 - 8 PM at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel.  Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at Immaculate Conception Church Ravenna, Ohio. Entombment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery.
