Mary Therese (Valtr) Golias

Mary Therese Golias 92 of Ravenna passed away Saturday, September 23, 2023 at Longmeadow Care Center. She was born January 22, 1931 in Cleveland, Ohio to Frank J. and Helen B. (Cermak) Valtr. Mary was a member of Immaculate Conception Church. Survivors include her children Barbara Golias, David Golias, Robert (Joan) Golias and Timothy Golias; her grandchildren Jason, Krissy (Kevin), TJ (Erin), Bonnie (Marty), Matt (Savannah) and Andrew(Rachel); her great grandchildren Angelina, Elijah, Parker, Beau, Max and Adaline; and her niece Judy (Dan) Harrison of Mississippi. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 42 years, Thomas A. Golias, daughter Cheryl (Jim) Spear, a brother Bob (Ollie & Diana) Valtr, a sister Lavern Valtr, and a nephew Jimmy Valtr. Calling hours will be from 10 AM until time of funeral service at 11 AM Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. Deacon Eric Ruehr will officiate. Burial will follow at St Mary Cemetery in Ravenna.
