Mattie B. (Hall) Floyd

Mattie B. Floyd 99 of Ravenna passed away Monday, July 15, 2019 at the Woodlands Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born April 15, 1920 in Shorter, AL to Samuel B. and Mattie L. (Butler) Hall. Mattie was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and had worked as a housekeeper and caregiver. Survivors include her children Odessa (Joseph) Pinkard, Arzetta Smith, Truzetta (Arthur) Johnson, Cassandra (Rick) Caffey, Johnnie Floyd and Mary Bowman, 24 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and siblings Dorothy Williams and Gertha Dafney. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Johnnie Floyd in 1967. Calling hours will be from 10 AM until time of funeral services at 11 AM Friday, July 26, 2019 at Shorts Spcer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. Pastor Omar Sharif will officiate. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Ravenna, In lieu of flowers memorials should be made to the Woodlands Health and Rehabilitation Center, 6831 N. Chestnut Street, Ravenna, Ohio 44266.
