Maurice C. Lester

Maurice (Maury) C. Lester 93 of Streetsboro passed away to our Lord Jesus Christ, Saturday October 24, 2015 at the Cleveland Clinic in Twinsburg, Ohio.
He was born April 19, 1922 in Anita, PA to the late John and Bessie (Ritter) Lester. He was a loving and compassionate son, husband, father and grandfather to all of his family.
Mr. Lester has lived in Streetsboro the past five years and was formerly of South Carolina, New York and Pennsylvania.
He retired from GE after 30 years of service where he worked as an electronics technician.
He was a member of the Streetsboro United Methodist Church, the Streetsboro American Legion Post 685 and was a veteran of the US Army serving in WW II.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years Mary (McDonald) Lester, his children, Kenneth (Robin) Lester, Sr. of Loveland, OH , Sandra (Dan) French of Hudson, six grandchildren Lucas (Young) French, Dean French, Kenneth Lester, Jr., Meghan C. Lester, Austen French and Sean Maurice Lester.
Also surviving are his brothers Guy Lester of Punxsutawney, PA and Harry Lester of Denmark.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday November 7, 2015 at 2PM at the Streetsboro United Methodist Church with Rev.
