Melissa J. (Tinch) Briggs

Melissa J. Briggs 63 of Ravenna, formerly of Streetsboro, passed away Thursday, November 30, 2023. She was born June 19, 1960 in Tinchtown, TN to Paul and Hazel (Capps) Tinch. Melissa attended the Streetsboro Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses' and was formerly a manager of Yours Truly Restaurant. Survivors include her daughters Miranda Martinez and Rachel Ryman, stepdaughter Andrea Briggs, grandchildren Bailey Cross, Derek Cross, Sara Byers, Anthony Byers, Taylor McClelland, Brandon Byers, Bree Byers, Ryan Byers, Daniel Martinez and Tristan Martinez and a sister Vanessa Ward. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Roger Briggs and brothers Paul "Sonny" Tinch and Douglas Tinch. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place later in 2024. Details TBD at a later date and announced via Facebook and word of mouth.
