Melvin W. Roosa

Melvin W. Roosa 90 of  Rootstown formerly of Palmyra passed away Saturday April 25, 2015 at his residence.   He was born January 11, 1925 in Shalersville Twp., Ohio to the late Herbert and Johann (Edmann) Roosa.  Mr. Roosa retired from the AC Williams Company in Ravenna where he worked as a Magnesium Puller.  Survivors include his brother Albert (Retha) Roosa of Rootstown and many many nieces and nephews .  In addition to he parents, Mr. Roosa was preceded in death by his wife Helen on June 28, 2011, his sisters  Hazel Plute, Helen Spaeth, Edna Whittaker and his brothers CArl. Leonard, Joel, August, Herbert and Harry Roosa all died previously.  Callling hours will be 1:30 PM Tuesday  April 28, 2015 until time of funeral services at 2:00 PM at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel.  Burial will follow the services in Riverside Cemetery Shalersville, Ohio.
