Michael R Cardinal

On Saturday February 18, we unexpectedly lost one of the kindest, purest souls, Michael Ryan Cardinal.  Michael touched the lives of every person he met. He lit up every room that he walked into and loved telling jokes and making people laugh. He loved everything outdoors, especially raccoons, which he would trap, give them a snack, and release them again. He spent much of his time with his girlfriend, Cayla Hermann, whom he loved dearly and shared many adventures together. Michael was very family-oriented, and he dedicated much time helping and spending time with his friends and family. He loved kids and always talked about getting married and becoming a father one day. Michael was loved by so many and will continue to hold a space in our hearts.  Michael is survived by his girlfriend, Cayla Hermann; mother, Joan Cardinal; father, Donald Cardinal; twin brother, Matthew Cardinal; siblings, Lisa (Michael) Thain; Jimmy (Lisa) Hostetler; Reese (Kristina) Cardinal; Heath Cardinal, Grandma Mary Ellen Cardinal, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends. Michael is already, and will always be, deeply missed.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, https://support.woundedwarriorproject.org .  A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, February 25 at the Knights of Columbus Hall 2697 Waterloo Road, Mogadore, Ohio 44260.  The celebration will begin at 3:00 p.m. and kind words and memories will be shared at 4:00 p.m.  Condolences and memories of Michael may be shared with his family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
