Michael Wayne Henderson

Michael Wayne Henderson 59 of Ravenna left this world an April 24, 2014 while in Atlanta, GA fighting cancer.  His was born November 29, 1954 in Ravenna to James and Betty J. (White) Henderson. He worked for International paper in Streetsboro, was a member of the Ravenna Moose. He enjoys woodworking, sports cars, going to his property in Southern Ohio,  and was an all around outdoorsmen. He is survived by his wife Jackie Henderson who he married May 20, 1973, daughters, Stephanie (Carl) Rasile of Ravenna, Lisa (Shawn) White both of Ravenna, grandchildren, Zachary Rasile, Hailey, and Hillary White, his sisters, Cheryl Clausen, Linda Svidvnovich both of PA, Christine Henderson of Ravenna, brother, Jimmy Henderson of CT, 17 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, and brother Dale Henderson. Calling hours will be held from 6 - 8 PM Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral  Home Ravenna Chapel. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at the funeral home with Rev. William Snyder officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery following the service. A memorial fund has be set up at Ravenna Key Bank.
