Michael W. Hilditch

Michael Wesley “Mike” Hilditch 32 of Stow, formerly of Kent, died unexpectedly on Saturday, July 21, 2018. He was born November 24, 1985 in Akron, Ohio. Mike worked as a foreman for ABC Landscaping in Kent and was also employed as a Sales and Claims Representative for Stone Ridge Restoration in Alliance. He is survived by his beautiful baby girl Leilina Hilditch; mother, Maria Hilditch of Kent; sister, Sheila (Matt) Jones of Jackson Township; brother, Brian Hilditch of Rootstown; fiancé Brittney Hunsicker of Stow and her daughter Brianna who Mike adored.  He will also be deeply missed by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.  Mike enjoyed sports and was an avid fan of the Cleveland Cavaliers and Oakland Raiders.  He also loved to travel, ride his motorcycle, swim, play Call of Duty, and spend time with his family and friends. Mike had one of the most kind and compassionate hearts.  To know him was truly to love him. A bright light is extinguished but his joyful spirit will shine on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.  Mike may be gone in body, but he is ever-present in our hearts and will watch over his family forever, especially his precious baby girl, Leilina. We are profoundly stricken by his loss, however we remain grateful for the time we were blessed with his life. Family and friends may visit from 4-7 PM Sunday, July 29, 2018 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel.  Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Monday, July 30, 2018 at the funeral home with Pastor Frank Park officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Streetsboro, OH. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to a college fund that has been established in his daughter Leilina’s name.  Contributions can be made at any Huntington bank in the name of Leilina Hilditch.
