Michael C Matulka

Michael C. Matulka, 73 of Ravenna, passed away Tuesday August 29, 2023 at UH Portage Medical Center in Ravenna, Ohio.  He was born May 24, 1950 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Rudolph and Marie (Beardsley) Matulka.  Being a lifelong Ravenna resident, Michael enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles and he enjoyed BMX racing with his children and his love of food and cooking.   He was  retired from the Anderson Door Company and was a veteran of the US Navy.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Matthew in 2021.  Survivors  include his wife of 54 years Bonnie L. (Reed) Matulka whom he married June 14, 1969, his children Brian (Christie) Matulka, Stephanie Matulka, five grandchildren,  four great grandchildren and siblings David Matulka, Linda Spencer, Mary Kay Caufield.  There will be no services, in honoring his request cremation has taken  place.  Condolences and memories of Michael  may be shared with his family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
